The Town Municipal Council (TMC)  Malavalli was constituted in 1951.   It is situated along Mandya District Southern State of Karnataka , india  A Historic town at a distance of  31 Kms from Mandya District  which was partialy destoyed by Tippu himself 1799 commn Era Tippu sulthan was forced to take back  his troops from Malavalli  when Mysore state was attacked  by British army  and also common Era Sri Sri Lakshmi Narasimhaswamy temple  came into existence at marehalli a famous temple at malavlali town. And also the Shivansumudra and Bluff falls formed on the Cauvery river splits  into two foming and island. The two Strems falls down to the same point and flows the two falls are called 1) Ganga chukki( 90 meters) 2) Bhara chukki(69kms) , on the down side of place there is a Hydral power generation station  belonging to karnataka state this hydral powe plant is the first in asia,

ಗಣಕೀಕರಣ :  ಪುರಸಭೆ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ ಆಸ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ, ಆಸ್ತಿ ವಿವರಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಗಣಕೀಕರಿಸುವ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಪ್ರಗತಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುತ್ತದೆ.  ನಾಗರೀಕರು ಇದರ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯ ಪಡೆಯಬಹುದಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ 1989 ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನಿಂದ ಈವರೆಗೆ ಜನನ ಮತ್ತು ಮರಣ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಗಣಕೀಕೃತಗೊಳಿಸಿದ್ದು, ನಾಗರೀಕರು ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ಜನನ-ಮರಣ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಪತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಗಧಿತ ಶುಲ್ಕ ಪಾವತಿಸಿ ಪಡೆಯಬಹುದಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ. 

 Computerisation : Properties within Malavalli TMC limits have been identified & details have been collected & Computerisation of records is under progress. Citizens can avail this facility to pay property tax shortly. Birth & Death records are available online from the year 1989. Citizens can make use of this facility to register & obtain Birth & Death Certificates.
